LEAP Share Brand New Single ‘Sinking Feeling’ & Announce Debut Album ‘Entropy’

If you haven’t heard of London based Rock band LEAP, now is the time to get to know. The band have just released their latest single ‘Sinking Feeling’ which is a a complete ear worm. With an instantly catchy opening riff and rhythmic vocals throughout you’re bound to have this stuck in your head and an instant add to your playlists.

The sound may be dark at times, the lyrics almost always, but at its core, LEAP is a wholesome message of raucous hope, and people want to be a part of it. 

“Sinking Feeling is the most excited we’ve ever been about a track, so it had to be the one to announce our debut album with.” says vocalist Jack Scott.  “It’s probably the closest we’ve ever come to a song that feels like it captures the energy of the live shows, which is always the aim. It’s an upbeat, dancey mosh-pit tune with honest, depresso lyrics, which is what LEAP is all about, basically. We’re all kinda broken in our own ways, and there’s nothing wrong with that. It’s a celebration and a temporary pause on that sinking feeling that we all get sometimes, that unexplained sense of dread.

On top of the release of a brand new single, the band have also announced the upcoming and long awaited release of their debut album “Entropy” coming October 3rd and available for pre order now!

LEAP boasts a combination of rock n roll extremes, to supersonic dance. Mixing heavy riffs and beats with lead singer Jacky’s stunning vocals taking you on a journey through London’s underbelly and his own struggles with mental health, which saw him both gain and lose the major label Hollywood dream, whilst ending up in the Balcarres Hospital’s psychiatric ward in his hometown of Edinburgh.

Over the past two years, the band have had a whirlwind ride. With over 30,000 tickets sold across the UK and Europe there is high demand to see LEAP in all their glory live. The first three EPs have also received a phenomenal support across the board, with a growing list of established supporters such as BBC Radio 1, Rolling Stone, MTV, and Virgin Radio to name a few! There is no denying LEAP are absolutely thriving. With a the announcement of debut album, there is no telling what new heights this band are going to reach!
